Q&A

Q1: Why does E-2 appear on the screen?
A: E-2 indicates that the test strip is contaminated, already used, or operated incorrectly.

This usually happens when:
Blood is applied before the meter displays the test code
A test strip that has already absorbed blood is inserted into the meter
Blood is applied too quickly after inserting the test strip, before the meter is ready
The test strip is exposed to moisture or air

🔍 Important note:
After inserting the test strip, the meter requires about 3–5 seconds to complete temperature compensation and internal calibration.
If blood is applied during this period, E-2 may occur.

Correct operation:
Insert the test strip → wait until the code / blood drop symbol appears → then apply the blood sample.

Q2: Why does E-5 appear on the screen?
A: E-5 means that the blood sample is insufficient.

Possible reasons include:
The blood sample does not fully fill the test strip check window
Blood is not applied within the required time

✅ Correct operation:
After inserting the test strip, wait 3–5 seconds until the test code appears, then apply enough blood within 3 seconds to completely fill the test strip window.

📌 Please carefully watch the operation video and read the user manual before testing.

Q3: Why does the blood ketone test result show 0.0 mmol/L?
A: A result of 0.0 mmol/L for blood ketone is normal.

Explanation:
The normal blood ketone range in the human body is 0.0–0.5 mmol/L
When ketone levels are very low, the meter may display 0.0 mmol/L
This does not indicate a malfunction.
